about Heidi

I am a chartered physiotherapist with 25 years experience including 20 years running a large practice in South-East England. Alongside my physiotherapy work, I have spent the last 7 years teaching Pilates both in person and online to a wide variety of ages and athletic backgrounds.

I am a keen hockey player recently representing England O50s in the masters world cup and I love cycling and running when time permits. I am passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing. I was recently diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), which is a long-term condition in which the spine and other areas of the body become inflamed. However, I remain more determined than ever to keep active.

I believe that combining my extensive physiotherapy experience with my Pilates teaching enables me to provide you with a programme of videos that will help you reduce aches, pain and injury risk, prolonging your participation in sporting and other physical activities. Also for individuals suffering from AS, Pilates type exercises can help relieve the pain and stiffness that is a main symptom of the condition.
